In need of new pants
I am in major need of new pants! All of mine are currently falling off my ass! This is a good thing, but untill I get some new pants it is kind of annoying! I called my mom last night to tell her she can buy me some new ones for christmas! She is going to look in my closet and see if I have any smaller sized jeans there. I'm kind of hoping she will buy me some new ones this weekend! That would be way cool! And I honestly wouldn't be all that surprised if she showed up this weekend with a few pair! FYI Parents are coming up this weekend!! Way excited about that one! It is also looking like I am going to have a shit ton of people up here for graduation! YAY I'm loved! Me and my dad were trying to figure out a head count for dinner that night...and if everyone comes we are looking at about 17 people!!
I have been looking into the Americorps program the past week or so. It is something that I looked into way back when I was an education major. They have a program called teach America that I had looked into. A few weeks ago there was a woman from the peace corps that had come into Patty's class. I had never really thought about it much until she was talking about it. The whole thought of getting shipped of to some random country basically by yourself for two years is a little to much for me. But going to some rural area of the US for a year would be way cool! So right now that's kind of the back up plan... hell I'm not even sure I would call it the back up plan.... that just might be plan A. I need to look a little more into it and call to talk to an actual person and figure out what exactly I want to do.
The weather has been unreal! It was 60 out yesterday!!! It's amazingly sunny and warm already again today!! I went for a huge long bike ride yesterday! It is a little confusing thought... it's fucking NOVEMBER!! Usually there is snow by now!! I AM NOT AT ALL COMPLAINING ABOUT THIS!!! Although I can tell you right now it will snow this weekend... my parents are coming up.. .it is ALWAYS shitty weather when they come up!!
I've got a presentation in an hour! I should go finish my apple and throw on some makeup so I can head over to the PEIF to meet Casey and Kay.
