There's absolutely nothing wrong with taking time to have an even more solid friendship foundation before you try and get anything more out of a relationship with someone. I know I always tell you to just have a lot of friends, and you're starting to open up to people more, but it really does work. The more people whose company you enjoy, the less stress it will put on you about that one single person until someone comes along who you absolutely can't get your mind off of. I know you mentioned the other night some down qualities of him, we all have some of course, but just make sure that you're considering the person as a whole by himself, not just how he treats you.
