Wedding Update

So as all you know I'm engaged to Matthew Galasso!! This is my first of many wedding updates I'm sure! So I've started planning so that I will get the date that I want, June 21, 2008. I've looked at a couple different places to have our reception. Right now I have two options that are running neck and neck right now

This may be a little late in coming, but I would choose Til Midnight. My main reasons:

1) it rains a lot in June. Windmill Island doesn't have any options for an indoor ceremony/reception really... you'd have to bring in the big tents that can get stuffy when it's raining.

2) If it's humid or hot, even if it doesn't rain, it won't be fun to sit outside.

3) Til Midnight is very classy. I'm sure they have someway to fend off other customers... like a sign in the door, or a velvet rope, or something.

4) I haven't ever been to Windmill Island in June, but do they fill in the flower beds with other flowers? Because tulips won't be around anymore. If they do, that might be a vote towards it, because you wouldn't have to spend as much on flowers, so prices would even out more.

I don't know, lol. Windmill Island is a really awesome idea.. but I would worry about rain/weather... like you said, it's so unpredictable in Michigan!
