weird
Okay, really weird.
Yesterday, I accidentally splattered my drink on the keyboard. It wasn't much, and most was on the wrist rest, so I just wiped it away. No bid deal, I thought.
Then I tried to reply to a post, and all of a sudden several of my keys wouldn't work. I was like, "terrific, now how am I going to get my homework done." I figured I was stuck using the desktop in the living room or buy a usb keyboard (all of our extra ones are the old kind).
I went to bed. Then just before I went to bed I realized that one of the letters that isn't working is in my passcode to unlock my laptop. *facepalm*
I just woke up and decided to give it a try and see if I could unlock the thing. And amazingly it did. So problem fixed!
Not quite.
Apparently, the keys work just fine in Word and Notepad and other offline things, but they won't work in any online text boxes.
*scratches head*
I'm typing this is in notepad so I can copy/paste it until I figure out what is going on.
(and apparently I can still paste into a text box, but can't actually write a V)
