Shopping.
Had to go Shopping. Due to circumstances beyond my control I had to take Krista, Klara, Octavia and the Trips with me. I got a big Shopping Cart with 2 seats for the Twins and gave the others strict instructions to walk beside it.
It was what people call an experience. Krista and Klara are at the age when they sit in the Cart and look around and look gorgeous. The Trips are quite good and will fetch things from shelves and keep together and not run about.
Octavia is at the I will have a tantrum at every opportunity stage of life. This can actually sometimes be funny. After having a tantrum because I took a can of new potatoes off her, she spotted a very fat man with a huge stomach, and before I could stop her went up to him and said "I know what you got in there". I discovered later she thought he was going to have a baby. Anyhow, he actually smiled and said "I'm afraid it's probably mostly Beer." As he walked away Octavia had a spectacular tantrum, moaning that she wanted Beer. A passing woman a few moments later told me I should give Octavia what she wanted just for once as she was disturbing everybody. By then she was just lying on the floor grunting. I had to tell the woman that I couldn't because she wanted some Beer.
After that she had another tantrum because she wanted to run up and down the aisles and her horrid Mama kept stopping her. However, once we reached the Check Out she suddenly became all smiles and helped lift things onto the Counter and told the woman serving us that she loved the Store.
The result of all this was I got a free newspaper. When I got home Amy started to eat it. I am exhausted. However, they are all playing nicely together with a heap of Duplo except the Twins who are asleep. I wish I was. Anna is bringing BJ and Rhys home thank goodness.
