Still slightly shocked from yesterday. Dan said he would get us all a Chinese to save me cooking, so at around 6pm yesterday he went off to the Chinese Take Away with Rhys because Rhys said he wanted to practice his Chinese.
Anyhow, evidently Rhys ordered the food in Chinese translating what Dan said, and had a conversation with the guy as well. When Dan asked him how he did it he said he just pictured it in his head. When I spoke to him later he seemed surprised that everyone didn't work on problems that way.
He has been teaching himself Chinese from the Web plus help from the family of a friend of his from Schule. Enough said I think.
