In the morning I am picking up the paperwork for Shmoo and myself to take over the lease on the 39th and Boston house.  I am so excited.  It's tiny, but neither of us need much space.  The kitchen is the largest room of the house, not too shabby.  The backyard is huge, and I am going to try to acquire picnic tables and a fire pit.  I am also ( Read more... )

It feels like stepping through a doorway into a slightly separate reality, making it past the nonsense and overwhelming symbol of the new fascist State that is the airport security checkpoint.
