Re 6: I didn't bother learning the cut tag, but rather I always use the rich text editor. There's a button for it there. One thing to note, DW tends to get a bit banjaxy when it comes to formatted text behind a cut. If you've got something bold, say, something about the cut makes all of the text appear bold. It's odd.

It helps to disable the auto format tickybox on dw. I thought I was going crazy when I had to reformat the Big!Bang story for the Nth time.

Are you crossposting? Formatting is always a challenge. It's half a miracle they can catch as much as they do automagicially. I shudder to think of the interlaced data coding.

I do crosspost, yes. I write at DW and have the account set up to crosspost to here. DW is my posting 'client' and my 'backup' (I had an online journal largely destroyed in a server crash four years ago, so now I keep a backup housed at a different site).
