(no subject)
hmm...so i got my final grades for the semester. they were all really good except for my psych grade. i got an A- in bio, A- in o. chem, A in comm, A in PE, and C+ in psych. i'm just happy that i passed psych. that class sucked. so i got a 3.5 for the semester and i have an overall GPA of 3.61. man i gotta do better to get the grades to get into dental school. but i think that i can do it.
i've worked 3 days so far at the orthodontist office. i'm not gonna lie. it's pretty hard work. and it's really frustrating and overwhelming. there's so much to remember. so far i've done a couple of tie ins, a few tie outs, took intra-oral pictures, resting facial, resting profile, smiling facial, and smiling profile pictures of a patient, i poured some molds and helped w/ an impression, learned how to sanitize the instruments and clean up the chair area to get it ready for the next patient, and some terminology. i have to remember to not say oops and other negative things like that, which i'm working on. b/c if you say oops, the patient thinks that something is wrong when really nothing is, but they don't know that. i'm getting the hang of everything...sorta. well i will by the end of the summer anyway.
well i guess that's all folks...except i really hate unpacking and not knowing anyone. maybe i'll go read a book.
