What a Yay-worthy day!

So many "Yay!"s lately that I don't know where to begin...

• Yesterday was my birthday. (Yay!) We didn't do anything special, mostly because the weather was teh yuck. Tonight (maybe) we will go to Joe's Crabshack for dinner as a family and tomorrow night when Nana keeps Mack overnight, JP and I will go elsewhere for a special date dinner. I have no idea what else we will do. We've talked about going dancing...
  
• Today is System Administrator's Day. (Yay!) We don't really celebrate that around here except by cursing Microshaft automatic updates that cause all sorts of hell with firewalls.
• My new glasses are in. (Yay!) I get to go pick them up tonight. Maybe I will post a picture of the new specs since they are so cute. You didn't want me in the pic, did you?
• Better yet, I got two pairs of glasses - frames and lenses - for $219. (Yay!)
• Even better still, JP's health insurance gives us a $300 allowance per person every two years for "hardware" not including sunglasses or transistions lenses. We didn't pay a penny for my glasses! (Double Yay!)
• I discovered that my resizing of the photo file in a previous entry caused all sorts of long load times and such. I'm very sorry about that. I have fixed it so it is a much smaller file and will load faster. (Yay!)
• Speaking of that photo, yes, it is indeed airbrushed. That's why I didn't recognize me. (Yay!)
  
• Yes, I'm silly. (Yay!)
• We had to get a new tire on JP's "Box" this morning. There was no line, so we didn't have to wait too long! (Yay!)
• I'm studying to get another computer certification - CompTIA's Network+ by August 31. (Yay!)
• After that, I will work on my MCSA, and the combination of the A+ that I earned eons ago and the Network+ will actually give me an elective exam credit. I also discovered that the Security+ exam will give me an MCSE or an MCSA credit, so maybe I will work on that one at some point, too. I don't know - it's all so confusing, so I should just focus on one exam at a time! (um, Yay?)
• The boss has given me many study books and CDs. This should be fun! (Yay!)

There's more, I'm sure. I just can't remember them all at the moment. (Thank you, fibro fog! [Yay! (yes, I'm absolutely delirious now.)] [Besides, I like doing parens inside of brackets inside of more parens. It's so fun! (Yay!)]) (I suppose I could have done the curly brackets, but I don't like them, so it's paren-bracket-paren for you!)
