Saturday at Ren Fest

Mack, JP, my friend Phil and I all went to the Renaissance Festival yesterday. What a great day! Well, it was a mostly great day. Mack just wanted to go home. We stopped at Katz's for breakfast, where my meal was comped because I had a dirty coffee cup and a hair in my breakfast, and then they forgot my bacon on the second serving attempt of my ( Read more... )

Yep. :) I started out with it, and had to take it off because I was getting all sweaty and it was sliding around and threatening to fall off.

Ooh speaking of that type of thing... if you have any constructive critisism on my chokers I would love to hear it. Personally (because I wear my own work) I have started putting proper closures on them so they stay nice and snug on my neck... but I was wondering if you would rather yours with closures or if you prefer them just with the memory wire?

The closures I have been putting on are adjustable so they should fit any neck... the only thing is when the choker is made of two pieces it means that they won't be able to be worn seperately. Sorry for all the questions but it really helps to hear people's feedback because I really want to make a product that works y'know?

Thanks so much!! ^_^

At least they comped it without us even asking.

I used to work out there...did it for 3 years and only stopped this year because of transportation issues...

It's such great fun, the outfit looks very good on you! I had to pretty much squeeze my skin to get some decent cleavage going...and then then it wasn't awesome at all.

Anyway...funny story....ever been so close to an elephant that one of his nuts hits you in the head? Thankfully I haven't been but I've seen it, most hilarious thing evar!

I used to do weaving demonstrations in front of the SCA compound for a couple of years. I haven't done that since the year before Mack was born, and I hadn't been back to RF as a patron in about three years.

Funny thing about the bodice - she had to give me a bigger size because my boobs were too big and/or my waist was too small. However you want to look at it.

Elephant balls to the head? Ewwww! I would have laughed my ass off at the poor idiot that happened to.

I miss going to the Ren. Fest. I didn't go the last couple years I was in Houston, but I remember it being a good time. Glad you got to enjoy it.

And I never liked Katz's. I don't trust a place that never closes.

I hadn't been to RenFest in about three years. I was appalled at the vast number of food places versus the miniscule amount of shops this time. I go there for the browsing/shopping, not the overpriced food. I suppose it keeps lines to a minimum, though.

This was the first time I'd ever been to Katz's. I don't know that I will ever go back again. The location isn't good for me unless I already plan on being in the area, and that kosher food... well, bacon just isn't bacon unless it's made out of pork. All in all, it was okay and I would go back if the circumstances were right. I wouldn't seek it out, though.
