Shortest dentist visit EVAR!
Last Thursday (10-27) I had a dentist appointment to get a "deep stain" filled. It was one of those pits on one of my front teeth (where everyone could see it!) that just collected stains. I was sick and tired of it, so a few weeks ago when I was in for the annual fang sharpening and cleaning I asked the dentist if he would fix it for me.
I arrived at the office, and they sent me back immediately. He was waiting for me! He took a look at it, scraped it a little bit, took the needle and put it away (no shot?!?) and told me it wasn't even deep enough to need the shot. He drilled a little bit, put some of that match-the-tooth filler stuff on there, did the little blue-light thing, filed and buffed it and sent me on my way. I kid you not, I was in and out of there in under fifteen minutes.
And for that, they charged me $57. I didn't even get a shot! Or that nasty not-really-banana-flavored-even-though-that's-what-they-call-it numbing stuff. I feel so cheated!
But I don't have a stain on my smile now. :o)
