KDP
I haven't updated very much because I have been so busy. I have been taking care of myself, my husband, my house, my work, and then my internet things. I really haven't had the motivation to keep this updated, but James is gone playing poker tonight so it's quiet enough for me to update.
I have been doing the usual going to class, being with my 3rd grade class, babysitting on Friday, and teaching on Sundays.
Today James and I went to SIUE because I had a meeting for Kapp Delta Pi (it's the honor society of education). I thought it would only be an hour, so James brought his audio book and went to the library. But it lasted for 2 hours instead. He wasn't very happy with me, but that's okay. He got over it quick enough. :) I am excited about the service projects that I will be able to be involved in with KDP. Even though I'm not volunteering with Girl Scouts, I will still have a chance to do something.
Afterwards we went to Cahokia Mounds to watch a Pow Wow. We stayed for about an hour to watch the Gourd Dance and the Grand Entry. It was hot, we didn't have cash, and James was bored so we left. I wish we would've had cash though... there were tons of things I would've bought. :)
When we got home, we had lunch and we did some chores. I also did some homework and cleaned more before dinner.
Now James is off to poker, and I am watching Dateline.
