This morning I went to the gym to weightlift, even though I was still pretty tired from my run last night. It was a good workout for my arms. Most of my weights have gone up again, so I am sure that my arms will be sore tomorrow. I also did abs and I added some hanging abs. I felt strong doing them. :)
Then I chatted with Pika and she told me I should book a campsite next to her at Lake Fanny Hooe because the State Park was already booked for the triathlon weekend. But Fanny Hooe wouldn't let me stay there. There was a red flag on our account because of our friend Scooter "doing burnouts in the parking lot." Ugh. I felt like a jerk on the phone.. it was so embarassing. So I waited until James came home from work to figure out what to do next. He said he'd call and try to get that off of our account, but no luck. I was sitting right next to him while they had a civilized discussion and not even 10 minutes later Pika messages me to say Lake Fanny Hooe cancelled their registration. They told them they couldn't stay because of circumstances with their friends - US! WTF? We happened to find, online, a hotel who also had some campsites. So we booked 2 sites there. I wouldn't be suprised if Fanny Hooe called everyone and told them not to take us. I'm still in shock about it.
James told me about the 'burnout' story too. He said Scott slammed on the brakes into a gravel parking space, kicking up gravel. And old man from the office yelled at him and asked him to fix the gravel with a rake. So Scott went to the office, got a rake, fixed it, and put the rake away. I don't know why they'd banish us for that. And then banish my friend who was staying with her mom and dad in their tent this year!
Lake Fanny Hooe can kiss my ass.
I just had to vent.
Now I need to study for my final exam.
