M's dress is cut and largely assembled. I pinned the skirt on to try it on for length and it was ankle length - perfect once I add the draw string. She adored wearing it. Very very excited and would not stop dancing in it.

I fudged the pattern a little bit. I put the shoulder seams at the modern location, because it was waaaaay to damn difficult to fit a squirmy toddler for anything more complicated.

Next, the sleeves!
