Making changes

It's been some time since I've posted or even really visited Livejournal, sadly. It makes me nostalgic for the days when I would almost daily come here to read and catch up with people. I made many friends over the years and while I'm still in touch with a small number of them, it's sad that most of them I no longer even have a connection with anymore. Some have left Livejournal all together. It's hard to keep up with this fast social media world; I feel like a dinosaur in comparison.

Among other things, I've also been dealing with many personal medical issues (EXPENSIVE ones), which has had me rethinking many things, including unnecessary expenditures. Long ago, I'd chosen to get a paid account on Livejournal. But now I'm realizing that, with how little I'm on here any longer, on the few occassions I do browse the site, it's better that I stay with the free version. So there you go. I have no idea what will happen to the appearance of my journal once my paid account ends but I also feel that it's not really going to make much difference to me much. I barely remember how to adjust my layout or anything any longer anyway so there's really no point in paying for something I'm not even using.

I hope the few friends who might still be reading this will reach out to me and we can find a way to stay in touch, even if only a once a year Christmas card, or sometihng. Send me a message and we can try to stay in touch.

Peace, happiness, health and good will to all.
