Sorry about the delay, folks but just as I was about to write my entry I checked my email and I had a message from my movie review boss saying I either up my productivity or I lose that job. So I upped my productivity and put a few reviews on back order so I could send out quick emails each week instead of scrambling. Any ideas where I can watch cheap American films online? I think I might have to start using the online netflix movie viewer... or rent films from iTunes...
So. Yesterday was actually kind of boring. I slept in a little bit. I skipped on the sports faire and decided to spend the day writing and cleaning my room. Which I did. I had some poptarts for breakfast and ate some cheese in place of lunch, since by the time I was hungry again it was almost time for dinner...
I spent most of my morning trying to find, and then download, Thursday nights episode of the Office. Not only was I successful, I was rewarded with possibly the best episode yet!! I won't tell you, in case you missed it... but I was squealing in my seat. I watched it twice in a row, and then expereinced it again with Hannah on IM. OH YEAH I got to video chat with Hannah, Lee and Ariel on skype the other day! It was short lived, though... something kept cutting out...
I had to stop in at the income office to try and sort out my registration and enrollment, and I found out Kent doesn't accept personal checks. This put a further wrench in my payment plan, as Goucher was all set to send over a personal check. Since when is it MY job to do all this communicating? I know I should be responsible for my finances, but really? Don't these people get paid to deal with my money, and with each other?
After the Office, I decided to clean up my room a little. I did my dishes and went through all the stuff I got at the faire and put all the important society dates into my "Diary" (daily planner).
I wrote the afternoon away. Dinner was a peanut butter sandwich... remind me to get some jelly...
There was supposed to be a creative writing event at the cinema cafe, so I went over but I didn't see any particular groups and the woman at the desk had no idea what was going on. So I muddled around a little more, to see if anyone looked like they were having a meeting, but no one did, so I left. The creative writing flier said the club would move on to the Venue, and that was an area I was not interested in going to on my own.
So I went back to my room to write some more. I got distracted, though, by a movie, and then by the email from screenspotlight, so not a ton of writing got done. I did, however, sign up for a skype contract. I got to talk to Pat for the first time since I got here!!! That was super nice. And I got to chat with the fam for about an hour, and I played Chinese checkers with my Mom. So that was all really cool.
In conclusion, check out my reviews on Screenspotlight.com. They're mostly short. I promise.
More about my life later this evening. Promise.
