Lofty ideas
With a little encouragement from tanpopo03 I signed up for the spn_reversebang . I think I have bitten off more than I can chew. My art so far is LAME. Honestly my ideas are way loftier than my abilities.
The crash course I was giving myself in figure and face drawing is going ok but as much as I like to think I can teach myself to draw people in a couple of months it's not happening. I finally had to ditch some of my grander ideas and just do very simple. I hope that its going to be enough for an author to work with. My one fall back piece I think will be ok that way but I did want to have at least one piece that made me feel accomplished, like a reward for cramming this all into a few weeks. LOL
This is so different than what I am used to. I mean really a lanscape is a couple of lines to separate the horizon and maybe a lake and mountains. And tole is all traced. I don't draw small well at all.
I'm very glad that I signed up though because I have learned so much and I needed a challenge like this to jump start me. I always work better on a deadline. Even if it is stressful as hell.
