Here it is~

Sep 07, 2010 15:14

Sorry for no updates so far... I've been busy with this and that and just check my mails.

Since it's been almost a week now I'll sum it up a little.

Flight was OK but veeery long (couldn't sleep on the flight from Dubai to Narita... almost 10 hours just sitting and hardly doing anything - my screen wasn't working so I couldn't even see movies the whole time T_T
at least I've seen Liar Game when flying from Düsseldorf to Dubai).

Welcome to Dubai. A huge Airport.

Arrived there at 23:something,

played some trump
and set off again at around ~3:30 (with delay)
When we arrieved at Tokyo my passport had the wrong number. Thank you consulate of Japan... <<"
But in the end we arrived in Ueno at our hotel. It was aweful to carry all the luggage!

First meal in Tokyo: a burger at Mosburger. Myammy but expensive T_T

Little burger for 320Yen (which is like 3€)

Oh, for Germans Japan is EXPENSIVE as hell! I can't really afford money to eat healthy stuff since vegetables and fruits are so expensive.
It's like 1€ = 100Yen.... And I'm always buying the cheapest stuff at supermarkets, conbinis and so on.
Nevertheless my wallet already feels very empty. I hope I can survive somehow...

In the evening we made a short trip to Asakusa.

It wasn't that late but there were only a few people around. I guess you would just push yourself forward within a huge crowd if it had been midday or afternoon.
But looking at these reeeeally huge buildings was awesome!
and even though it was already dark it wasn't cooler at all T_T
It's been like 35° at daytime and like 28° at night @__@

It's nice to see Miura Haruma almost everywhere *_*

After a night at the hotel we strolled around Akihabara (famous for electronic and otakus)

on our way back to Ueno...

Ueno

Meal for 280Yen~
It was tasty and the great thing for a weather like this: cold water for free!
I think this is a nice service in Japan. ^_^
From Akiba we went back to Ueno to pick up our luggage to drive to our 'home' in Kawaguchi/Saitama.

At Warabi Station our House-Manager Lei-san picked us up to lead us to our house.
Well,.... I don't really like her. She didn't say hello, wouldn't ask if she could carry at least a bit of our luggage since it was a lot and just went straight home without really waiting T_T
I share a room with my sister and it's a very huge room for Japanese standarts I'd say XD
Sorry, I didn't take a picture so far. XD

Friday, we got ourselfs a suica card for the train and went to Harajuku.
Had a look into Takeshita Dori

Avex Artist Academy! *___* I'd love to go inside XD It was right in Harajuku, in a small street which leads to Takeshita Doori.
Strolled around Laforet

and went to Omotesando.

Omotesando. It's always very crwoded I guess. And lots of expensive shops!

Found the Out Of Order shop in which you can buy D-Boys photo-sets.
Didn't buy any so far (Arayans were kind of boring T_T).
It's SO small! XD
Charlotte felt really bad on that day as she probably ate an onigiri which wasn't that good anymore.
So we decided to go back home. It was awefully hot, too that day.
T_T

Sunday: Harajuku again (because I actually wanted to look for Russ-K but didn't notice that you could buy that at Indio XDD)
So here some more photos of Harajuku.

The beginning of Takeshita Doori, popular shopping street.

Arashi are like everywhere X_X
This picture was taken from the walls of Harajuku station. A lot of people were standing there taking pictures with their mobile phones...

Beck! *_* I want to see that movie.... >____<

After Harajuku we went to Shinjuku

In the red frame of that bulding you can see KimuTaku.
He and SMAP seem to be very popular for adds, too at the moment.

KASHIWAGI!!! Well actually that's AKIA from EXILE but in the the drama Tumbling he played the charakter of Kashiwagi-Sensei ** he still looks the same~

So we went to OIOI because Charlotte wanted to look for Moi-Meme-Moitie fashion.

And back to the station. On the white bulding right beneath the traffic lights you can see a huge poster of Fukuyama Masaharu. So handsome~
After Shinkuju we drove to Ikebukuro.

Pigeons! They are really rare here...

In Rookies the shirts most of the cast wore were from Right-on. Didn't take a look inside so far ;__;

Cake-snails XDDD they looked cute.

At almost every corner you can find vending machines.

and there are a lot of bicycles.
I want one, too. Walking around so much is very exhausting.
But I think driving in Tokyo would be scary.

having a short break in front of K-Books (in which you can buy veeery expensive D-Boys photos/trading cards T_T)

Again Miura Haruma.

and Beck *_*

I think this is going to be one of my favorite shops!
You can buy used Books, DVDs, Games and CDs!

Watanabe Ken and Darth Vader?! Ok....

YamaP at Ikebukuro Station! Pretty pictures ** I mean, he smiles! :D

waiting for the train back to Akabane.
At Akabane we have to change trains again to go to Warabi.

This is Warabi! Well in front of the station and in this area there are most of the shops but walking a few minutes it becomes very quiet.

Dinner~
Something called Korokke. Fried potatoe with a bit of other vegetables. I love it! **

Monday: Ikebukuro again to meet my Sister and my Tutors Makie and Akari.

Sunshine 60! A reeeeeeeeeeeeally tall building.
There's a shopping mall inside of it, too.
Actually we wanted to get to the top of the bulding to have a look at Toyko but it was too expensive.
T_T something around 10€ to look out of a window.....
no thanks...

After walking a bit through Ikebukuro the 5 of ous went to Warabi to sign up for the Alien Registration Card.
But unfortunatly Akari asked for the wrong city hall. Our station is called Warabi but were not living in Warabi. We're living in Kawaguchi....
A 15 minutes walk in that heat for nothing!! (15 minutes for one way!)

That's all for now.
Today is Tuesday but I won't update about today, yet. This entry is long enough.
I'll go to bed soon because walking around makes you reeeeally tired. And we do nothing else it feels XD
My feet hurt and my muscles need a rest...
Tomorrow schedule says nothing so I'll be hanging around in Saitama the whole day and laze a bit.

See you soon~
