Attack of the UTERUS!!

Let's see... update update update...

A couple weeks ago, I visited Verno and got new pretty hardware for my left ear. It's gorgeous... and waaay cooler than the hardware in my right ear. It's a tri-industial. I'm not sure if that's the technical name for it, but eh. Since the bars are extra long to accommidate for swelling, the piece that goes through the top of my ear has been interferring with my glasses. Thus, I've been wearing my contacts for the passed few days. It's been strange not having a face. One of my coworkers at the clinic saw me today and the first thing he said was, "Wow, Jen, are your eyes really THAT blue??" Yes, indeed they are.

I've been working a ton, as per usual. My store manager at the coffee shop says that by the end of the month, my hours will have settled down a bit and I'll get at least 1 day off per week. That's the hope anyway. She's always been able to deliver, so at least I have that to look forward to.

I've been going bowling lately as well. Wicked fun times, let me tell you. But bowling doesn't really agree with my left hip and my right knee. But hey, good times come with sacrifices... or something.

I've been seeing a lot of people lately, and that makes me really happy. More of the Manda and Sam. And one of my old friends has been coming around more often. My coworkers at both my jobs kick ass. Seeing the one in passing has been a whole lot less awkward. He still smells good and I still find him... esthetically pleasing, but there's no way in hell I'm doing that again. So, just to be able to look is good enough for me.

There's still no romance on the horizon, but, today, I'm definately okay with that.

I bought the Back to the Future trilogy the other day. OH MAN!! I'm such a NERD!! I got irrationally excited watching the first scene of the first movie (where Marty blasts the MEGA AMP and flies across the room). I kept saying, "oh, no..." and then ending with a scream when the amp blasted. Mo was in the kitchen and asked me, "what are you watching?" When I said Back to the Future, she laughed as if she was saying, "wow, my roommate is a nutcase." Good times.

So, yeah, good times all around.
