Today I once again had cause to wonder what the hell will happen to this country when the kids I work with are grown up. They discovered that if they smash all the light switches, then stick their fingers in far enough, they will get (little) electric shocks. If health and safety weren't an issue I'd give them their dues on coming up with a practical science lesson. They could write reports entitled "why I like to learn my lessons the hard way". Which now I think about it, pretty much sums up the ethos of the work they do anyway.
