Rants and Clones

(I hate trying to come up with titles for my posts!)

Gah! 2 weeks left!

I'm getting tired of this. I'm sorry if I'm offending any hindus out there, but hinduisme makes no sense! How can you worship 500+ gods all at once? Sheesh!

Oh, well. I'll be fine. I only have to put up with school for another two weeks until we move. But then my teachers are going to use the internet to make me cover all the material we rushed, anyways. In French class, a 30-day journal, and in Religion - well - I still have to cover Bouddism, Judaism, Sikhism and - something else. I've already covered Islam - thank goodness! It's friday, finally!

I have to pack up everything that's in my room, and put it in a box in the basement. Noooo, not my CDs, not my books, not my notebook! No, I am to too material. I just like my things. I'm not as much of a packrat as my mother and grandmother, though. The other day I found, in the basement, a magazine from 1987. Who keeps magazines that long, anyways?

But we're only allowed two suitcases each, and since we're not considering it a 'real' move, we're not going to ship anything. We have a house sitter, a woman who used to go to our church, who will stay in the house while my grandparents fix it. Yesterday it was the railling on the front steps, tonight I have to paint a window frame on the side of the house. If it doesn't rain.

Sims stuff (since that's basically why I have a LiveJournal, right?). They don't have to deal with renovations. We're the ones who do all the real work. Anywhoo, I played the family last night, up to where I want to end the second chapter. I rolled the CAS dice - honest! Joseph was different from Pierre-Louis, but Marguerite was a clone. That really irked me!

Hopefully I'll be in a better mood to write over the weekend. The first part of the second chapter will probably be a little - sketchy, much like the first. But I got better about a quarter of the way into it. I'm just having a hard time taking pictures of the normal, boring, every day stuff. But I'm sure you all saw that from the first chapter.

Well, I guess I'm off to do some more homework. Gah, festivals and celebrations and arranged marriages! Gah!

Ps, I still haven't figured out how to do cuts. Usually I'm pretty good with technology, but this just isn't working.

school, sims 2, personal stuff, ponderings, adfl
