ahhh OMG maeeeeee
So today I discover that MAE is officially major-label signed, and has been for quite some time now.
Capitol records will release their next album.
I am so happy for them, because they deserve it the most out of anyone else. However, I am afraid of what the shows, what the fame is going to do. I know they personally will not compromise their values or change their personalities, however, I fear that their fan-base will soon consist of a bunch of retarded girls, just what happened to Fall Out Boy.
I will also admit, I am afraid that their shows won't be the same anymore. Like I won't be able to hang out and talk to them about life and books and such.
But they're on the same label as Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Coldplay, Radiohead, Yellowcard, and Relient K! My goodness. I am proud of them, and happy for them. I just hope things do not change too much!
In other news, there are a lot of crackies outside. And Andrew Bird is playing accross the street from me a few days before I leave. And Muse and The Strokes are playing at Davis. And Jack's Mannequin in Sacremento in October. And I got hired at Tony Roma's. Haha just for 3 weeks but they don't know that so ssshhhh.
