Awww .... Awww. I'm crying at 8 freakin' AM! But smilling, too. This was just sweet and lovely. The way I want things to be.

Favorite moments ...

"John suppresses another yawn. It's early, yet, but if the arm sliding down to the floor is any indication, he actually is tired. Manages to shift once, winds up with his head on Ronon's thigh, Ronon's hand threading through the hair at the base of his neck, and figures he might as well sleep for a while."

And

"Because Colonel John Sheppard is the military leader of this city. He is responsible for the lives of all of his people, and he trusts Ronon enough to fall asleep with his hand on his throat."

Happy sigh. I really love how you keep the characters *in* character, yet give us exactly what our slashy li'l hearts desire.

Poor Lorne, spilling the beans like that. I'll bet next time he trains with Ronon, he's going to be very, very focused! ;-)

Ty is a great character. Worthy of being Ronon's mother. An OFC we can actually *like*!

Soooo .... What's next? I'm anticipating already!

As a rule, I don't like OC's in fanfic, so I deliberately tried to minimize her, ah, page time. Or whatever. Don't really think she came across very developed, but it would have taken a whole lot longer to get her all flushed out. I wanted to keep the story about the reactions to her, rather than keeping the focus on Ty herself.

Blah.

Anyway, as to what's next...it's going to be longer, and have something resembling a plot...Will take a while before I get any of it posted. :)

This was just lovely :) Ty is kind and compassionate and motherly without being sickly sweet, and Ronon's reactions to her are spot-on. I like that he was so nervous about telling her about John, and I'm glad she had such a unique perspective on John and Ronon's relationship, that until a few days ago she didn't even know her son was alive so everything else is just gravy.

Love John falling asleep in Ronon's lap, love Torren's tiny hand, love Teyla and Kanaan (poor Kanaan, he tends to be invisible in most fic, so I like that you put in little touches like him going hunting with Ronon), love the entire expedition being so glad to see Ronon's mom :D

I like Kanaan, in that the show doesn't really do anything at all with him, so there's a lot of room to play around with. Plus, he looks a lot like David Blaine, who I used to have a total crush on when I was in middle school. Come to think of it, he doesn't do a whole lot these days, either. Just stands around on top of poles for days on end.

Anyhow. Yeah. Glad you liked it. :)

Aww, I love Ronon's mom. I was worried at first, just like Ronon was, but then she proved herself to be just as amazing as her son. :)

I really like how *close* John and Ronon are, how comfortable they are with each other.

Yay! You're back!

Someone should make a video game caled "Repair Hero." Instead of a plastic guitar, it would come with a set of demagnetized screwdrivers and a bunch of manuals....

Okay, so it might not be an exciting game. But I'm overtired, now, so I'm blaming that for thinking it's a brilliant idea.

Also, thanks for reading. :)

I loved this so much. I loved Ty's character and that Ronon found her again (and STUNNED her! EEE!) and Ronon's sheepish and hesitating and obvious love for her and vice versa, and her acceptance of John and John's fierce protectiveness.

I love how you write the two of them!

Thank you (again! hee!)

You know what they say about family reunions... It's all fun and games until someone tazers mom...

Oh, and the line about the currency of parental embarrassment or how you phrased it (much better than I) OMG had me in stitches.

And now I want to write an Outcast Ronon/John MS where Dave embarrasses John with stories....
