OMG, I spent like HALF THE INTERNET looking for that number anywhere and couldn't find it. Think I saw the Les Mis, but didn't make the connection. Doh!
Oh. OH MY GOD!! I was too busy getting the dialogue to pay attention to the username, but HOLY SHIT YES! This has to be a Les Miz reference, no way it's not!
Did you by any chance comment on John Rogers' question post with this? Because two people did... :-)
I know, and the crashing noise in the background was just hilarious. THere's a driver somewhere who's just had the most panicked and horrified moment of their entire life, I"m sure. :D
Dude, Eliot was *so* bragging to strikethe guy he wants to date Hardison. I'm sure of it. And then Hardison was all dismissive. Which lead to Eliot being cranky later on (uh huh. Yeah. Somehow) and getting cranky with Nate until he got sent to his room. :D
( ... )
The irritating thing is that it fits in too perfectly with one aspect of the fic. Except for the timing. I might work it in, though. We'll see how the editing goes. When I get there. I'm about 2/3 done with the first draft (Just over 30,000 words) *smasheskeyboardwithfists*
I don't know what I'm complaining about. It's like I've just been anti-Jossed. Dammit.
Okay, well. Maybe just a short one, a little distraction during the week...we'll see. :)
As soon as that thug guy started getting rough with the lady in the trailer. I knew Eliot would et out of the car and blow their cover. Hah! And fixing her screen door! He's so chivalrous in an Aw Shucks Ma'am way.
I really need subtitles. Or maybe headphones. There was so much going on in the dialogue, I'm sure I missed some of it. I gotta watch again. Oh, the hardship. *g*
Nate? Nate, you are aware that Eliot's gonna blow up soon, yes? Ooooh dear. And I understood that Nate dismissed him from the con, so where did he come back to drive the car? Did I miss that too?
I felt a little sorry for the poor waitress in the café who must have really thought she was being robbed, and the old man (the original speaker). At least they gave him some applause... :-)
Eliot's totally going to hit the wall at some point with Nate, here, or possibly, he'll just hit Nate. He's offscreen between the Dismissive!Nate scene and the car crash reveal and it doesn't get mentioned. THough I'm guessing someone else was the one to broach the topic with him. I'm think the truck they're using is Rockwell's assistant's, but who knows- would make sense.
HArdison has the best horrified stare I've ever seen. :)
I loved the OT3 moments, AWESOME! I laughed so loud when they where in the office alone...Hardison wanting to recruit the mark, star wars and my favorite: Hardison standing in front of Eliot, hilarious.
Eliot trying to steal Parker's bag - I was crying because I was laughing so much. Same with the slow clapping or Sophie looking at shoes.
So much fun in this episode.
And so much potential for epic explosions to come: Nate dismisses Eliot. Oh, something's gonna happen. They can't just not let Eliot react at some point. I can't wait for that.
The best thing about the mugging is that you *know* that at the very least, Hardison's going to make a screensaver of ELiot being hit with an umbrella and load it on every single one of his computers.
I'm seriously wondering if ELiot's going to snap. I mean, right off the bat in the first episode, he's pissed off because they were supposed to have more time off between jobs. And given the amount of physical hell he gets to go through every single time, he very well could *need* that time to recover, get his game back on. *ponders*
He just has to snap one way or he other. I think I'd be angry if they don't. Somehow together with some reveal about what happened in the warehouse i TBBJ.
He's really, really grumpy the whole time and challenging Nate a lot. Fun, fun, fun waiting to happen, lol.

I *really* wish they'd gotten a shot of the mugging scene from Hardison's camera. Dammit. :)
