at this moment, I am perfectly content
I am in Minnesota, lit only by the bedside lamp because the ceiling light went out approximately 24 hours after I arrived home. Today it snowed, and then cleared up, and since this afternoon the temperature has slipped rapidly below zero. Winter for the New Year, one of my favorite things. I have played arturis's fucking awesome trains game, I have hung out with my brothers and gone shopping with my mom. I have seen thirdthoughts and a few high school friends and many many many of the walking fish crowd, and I know I have a few days more to keep doing so. I have watched Unforgiven and Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog (And commentary track! Which referenced Into the Woods via musical motif!) and most of Chuck season one (again). And the 2008 British Television Advertising Awards at the Walker Art Center, which was awesome. I have attended Jewish-Asian-Atheist-X-mas and a kick-ass December 27th party, bought bunches of stuff, and visited several fine dining establishments. I have sent off a language fellowship application, thanks to my brother being willing to ferry me around in the snow, and have played far too much Robot Builder on facebook. I am in the middle of making another mix cd. And when I return to San Diego, I will have that most precious of all things: time.
