Surprisingly nice day!

Hey, well, first day at work wasn't so bad at all. Spent all morning in court and most of the afternoon at the police station, so not too taxing really. Got some nice stories to work on. Looking forward to spending a whole day with the fire brigade on Friday for a feature I'm writing. They informed me today they're going to try out some new equipment they've got by suspending me from a bridge in Chippenham. No, I fear they are not joking!! Should be a good laugh anyway(at least for the readers when they see the photos next week!). Never turn down the chance to spend quality time with men uniform!
Going to meet Ed in a little while. Haven't seen him since Wednesday so it'll be really nice. We're going to see Starsailor in Bristol tomorrow night too. Haven't had proper live music for months, so could be just the boost I need.
Anyway, I'm off. Hair to brush, shoes to find etc, etc.. xx
