Pie, of the American variety, mark two..

Just watched American Pie 2. Went to the cinema with Dean. And yeah, as sequels go, it was really very funny. Predictable stuff, but good old American, easy-to-watch, laugh out loud stuff. Just the sort of thing one needs on an otherwise uninspiring yet relaxing Sunday.
Not too over the moon about having to go back to work tomorrow, not having been there since Tuesday. While the last few days were anything but a holiday, it was a nice break out of the office, and when reality hit some time this afternoon that it was back to the good old Gazette tomorrow morning, it was a bit of a bummer...
Must say I'm quite looking forward to this week though. Going to see Starsailor in Bristol with Ed and Ian on Tuesday, and going to stay with Kate in London on Friday. Hoping to take a stroll round Covent Garden and do a bit of shopping for non-essential items on Saturday if the weather holds up. Looking forward to seeing my baby sister all grown up and fending for herself, or otherwise, at university!
Seeing Ed tomorrow night for the first time in about six whole days (sock horror!) and looking forward to that too. I do like the way I can quite happily go several days without seeing and him and not getting insecure or worried about it. The more I think about it the more I think our year of friendship and flat-sharing makes a sound basis for the realtionship we have now, finally. It all feels very right, without being too scary or pressured or anything, just nice. Aw, gushing....
Bloody hell, my old stalker rang me today. This is the guy I went on two 'dates' with way back when I was still at school. After I tactfully told him I didn't want to see him anymore he continued to call me for about six months, until my dad one day told him where to go and he stopped. Then at the end of last year he started ringing me again, out of nowhere, and persisted to call for the next few months even though I never picked up when I saw his number and never returned his messages. Hadn't heard from the little freak since Christmas and then suddenly something possessed him to call me today. Allegedly he's been in and out of the local loony bin and is on medication. Figures. Still, not even Miss Nice To Everyone is going to fall for the sympathy act. Besides, he hung up pretty soon after I told him about Ed and I and didn't give the impression he was about to call again in a hurry, thank God. What am I? Flypaper for freaks?!!!
Anyway, it's late, I have work tomorrow, and a very cute cat sitting on my bed who wants a cuddle! TTFN x
