so. i was just walking down the street and i overheard a woman say to her son, "you can do all the good deeds you want, but if you don't worship god, you're going to hell." and it really bummed me out. i kind of think that's an awful thing to teach your child. then again, i guess it's thoughts like that that help the creators of godhatesfags.

in the same vein it seems like shes saying "good deeds dont mean shit. you can be bad, just worship god and you'll be ok and get into heaven"
