We miss ya. How's your hand? You've still got couple un-opened ball packages at my house. Me and Mel Would be honored if they came to use for ya. How's the tournament going? Saw you in that magazine. Looking good girl. I didn't quite agree with some of the comments they had. I figure you wanna know what i'm talking bout. I wrote a letter to the reporter. love ya girl/ Phil & Mel

And she can. She’s one of the great fighters. She fights her guts out.” If it’s art, it sure isn’t pretty. But as theater, the plot twists can be utterly compelling.

The wind was swirling, the sun was in her eyes, and suddenly she was out of the game again, facing a press conference like so many others."The nicer the point, the more -- the better I feel, the more excited I get. But I never play that my opponent looks stupid. I think that is wrong. I have too much respect for every opponent I play." "She's not real any more. She doesn't really like tennis. You can tell. She's not playing from the heart. It's all contrived. She just wants to look good."
