Most people become greedy for peace like they become greedy for instability... possibly because they never realize the possibility for growth from that which makes them most uncomfortable. I believe sometimes we need emotional exhaustion like we need physical exhaustion... so we learn to sit in silence as if for the first time, and gain understanding for the events we've survived, but we should never forget.

I only know from my sleep patterns, I'm more constructive when I'm awake, so sleeping was a waste of time... eventually, I had to convince myself that I'd be MOST constructive if I'd at least had a few hours of sleep... even if only for 2-3 hours.

Now I use the peacefulness to ponder life as much as I use tumultuous havoc... and I can't say one grants more insight than the other. However, I do think some people need emotional activity to sleep like many people need physical activity to sleep.
