Why do I find myself so unable to sleep? Usually it can be blamed on stress, emotions, problems, fights, unrest, but I am not suffering from any of those. Is it perhaps that a human needs these kind of emotions to thrive on? Do we need problems? Do we need stress? It does set us on the trail of finding solutions, striving to make things better, longing to find an exit. Is this the human driving force? Is it what makes us function, day after day? Finding solutions, mending, fixing, arranging, making, I think it is.
Being totally at peace makes us seem simple, empty. Atleast that's my theory for now. And will be until I can once again close my eyes and have that action be followed by a whole night's sleep.
