Games!

When was the last time I talked about games? It's been a while, hahaha.

My most recent purchases were my first two games for my 3DS. =D Unfortunately, the 3DS is region-locked, meaning I can only play Japanese games on it... =/ Lost your chance to make some more money from me, Nintendo. LOL Anyways, I got Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance and Rhythm Kaitou R.

I first heard about the latter while I was in Japan because Yoshi mentioned it to me, but I didn't pay much attention to it at the time. Ah... I should have. It's has a storyline that is interspersed with rhythm games. The demo for the game only had the first 4 games, which were all EASY. After that they get so much harder... But I totally recommend this game! They're localizing it here, with the release set for summer, if I remember correctly. I put about 14 hours into the game, and now, I am just working on getting As on all the rhythm games to unlock the final hidden stage.

As for the former game, I haven't touched it yet. I know it will require more time for me to play through, which is why I'm holding off until after school is over.

I do have some other 3DS games that I want to play, too, so I've put them on my purchase list for later, including Labyrinth no Kanata and Zennin Shiboudesu (aka Good People Die, sequel to 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors).

In the meantime, I played Ib (イブ) a free computer game found here in Japanese (site) or here in English (Youtube). I played the English-translated one since my computer refused to load the Japanese one. Quite a few people on my Twitter list were playing it, so I got curious, even though I really cannot handle horror games. Yes, it's a horror game. It also plays on suspense and sudden noises. The game makes use of some puzzles. I did 2 playthroughs, first time got the bland ending, and second time got the good ending. In some ways, it's a "cute" game, in others... disturbing. I'm glad I'm done. XD;
