The ones that I feel are the most promising to watch (according to my tastes) for the season are colored magenta, though the ones that I most look forward to are in blue.
Continuing series:
Hunter x Hunter
So, they do a recap every 13 eps? It seems that way. Anyways, Arena time. =) I kind of remember it from KL's crash course.
Phi Brain s2
I'm curious where they'll take this next. But the pacing feels completely different. Also how they introduced the new antagonists, it's feeling less and less original. Please continue to be good and don't fall to that level... D= I've been a little reluctant to watch since the first ep of the new season, so I've been letting this one sit in the backlog a little...
Mirai Nikki
It ended a little into the new season. It's been pretty true to the manga, which is good. And they animated that scene! XD; I had conflicted feelings about it being animated though, lol. Though, at the same time, I'm glad the didn't fully animate the end of the manga, because that would have made it feel weird.
Kimi to Boku s2
Keep your hair down, Chizuru! XD
Recorder to Randosell
It never gets old, that one thing.
Sket Dance
This one is always a mystery. I can't tell if it's going to be serious or humor... Well, I guess since they had a bunch of serious eps, it'll be humor for a while?
Area no Kishi
Regular soccer anime.
New series:
Accel World
The PV drew me in. There's something about the animation style that I like. =) Especially how they animate Haru, both his real form and his normal avatar form. I wonder if others can see other people's individual screens? It makes me think of Dennou Coil a little bit. And, Kaji's voice acting, works so well. ♥
Sankarea
I wasn't planning to watch this one because of the premise (zombies...), but I checked it out anyways, and it's kind of cute. XD The main guy's hairstyle looks like he has cat ears, lol. This actually turned out to be one that I look forward to each week.
Kuroko no Basuke
Kuroko's seiyuu has a nice voice, very soothing. I looked him up but his list for main roles isn't very long. D=
Tsuritama (maybe)
It's weird enough that it's worth a try. XD Doesn't hurt that both Roxas's and Sora's seiyuus are in it. XD
Sakamichi no Apollon
Nice animation and lots of music. I can see why there was a lot of hype about it. =) Looks like it'll be a good one. However, regarding the relationships angle, after watching Ano Natsu de Matteru, I'm not quite looking forward to the complexity again.
Natsuiro Kiseki
The first ep didn't leave much of an impact on me, but after the second ep, it became a bit more interesting. The last time I watched something with a wishing stone... that was Asatte no Houkou.
Hyou-ka
This one came out later than the rest, but the animation quality is soooo nice! I also love how they stuck in 3 different classical music pieces into the first episode ("Air on the G String," "Moonlight Sonata," and "Prelude"). And the back of my mind was nagging at me that it felt like the setting was in Kyoto. Well, it is by Kyo-Ani, so I wouldn't have been surprised. I watched the ending part, and with enough background scenery, yes, it does seem like it's Kyoto. Also! They consulted with people in Gifu and Takayama! X3 (ep.1 credits @ 23:56)
New series, tried by dropped:
Tasogare Otome x Amnesia
I couldn't take the first ep serious. The one support character was too annoying for my tastes...
Shirokuma Cafe
shiroro said I might like this one, so I went and tried it out. I think people would enjoy this one, but it didn't really appeal to me. ^^;;
