4418: Sugar Rush
So I figured out why LJ gets crosspost updates last, if at all! Apparently, when I try to upload the animated* version of the following image, it eats all the black... >_<
*1. To see the animated version, cfb and 2. it's only slightly animated [nod for those in the know] but still something I put time into doing, damnit, so what's this fuckery about
Even Side 7 doesn't eat the original version [nearly that much], when it's normally the site I have to baby to get to display animated GIFs in a representative manner. FA... well. Byeh.
Main point being, this is what I do when I have time to take my time, vs. churning out a pic a day just for the sake of doing daily updates. Sure, I felt accomplished when I did finished pics every day, but I was also NOT finishing pics I really wanted to finish, just because I didn't want to put unfinished crap on the Internet [especially if I end up changing huge parts of a picture--I'm not like my boss in wanting to keep a history of every little change].
Confession: My primary motivator in making the above pic--a Sugar Rush "original character"--was happening upon other people's OCs and thinking, "Why the hell would anyone make a character for a [fictional] racing game... but NO KART??" [besides being too lazy to even put wheels on a confection] So I drew this to prove a point!

I'd, um... comment on related stuff I found, but mostly it was creepy fan-gushing over the main villain from Wreck-It Ralph--he's not even a good design! \=| [either of them!] It's exactly the same as if there was a shitload of Judge Doom fan-gushing out there... [bleurgh!]

BTW, this is a pretty sweet fan pic [if you've got like ten minutes and a LOT of patience], bonus in it being rather difficult to "steal" [NO STEALIES] ^_^
