3655: Timestep
I lied again--midnight snuck up on me like a sneaky bitch, leaving me in the middle of #4 unsatisfied with the direction I was taking. That elusive #4 is always a problem for me when I think of "proper order"... I just don't know what "should" come next and end up waffling--though in this case it was due to specific quirks inherent in the character.
Anyway, prolly scrapping that and going back to what I was doing [sequence-wise, not ditching projects AGAIN].
So, #3:
I'm at odds with the cheapness of the scanner in my printer. It's functional, but somewhat inferior to my dedicated scanner, even taking the odd camera misalignment that leaves a yellow streak down the middle of colour scans. Maybe my linework just sucks, but it looks even more crap than usual to me, so I'll have to clean up the answer keys later since TIME ESCAPED ME TONIGHT.

The five hours I mentioned yesterday is summed up as my current style looking like fan drawings by comparison. Most of this is due to that whole idiotic "stylistic continuity" bullshit that overcame me after 2003ish--drawing the old way was easier [though still aggravating].
Also, I can't remember all the changes I made, so that doesn't help.
Also, XM called me again today. Since I wasn't expecting it, I was VERY terse with them and hung up, basically. Tomorrow, I'll be quite cross [think: airhorn].
