Why are you not reading
@ Tavicat??
...oh. Because
rikkisimons says
everyone's already broken it D=
So, out of a DURP moment, I switched to using my computer headphones--a pair of so-called "noise-cancelling" headphones that nevertheless cost more than $15--and WOW! I CAN HEAR BASS =O
...and, as a side-effect, all the clipping I did to physically increase volume >_<
The main reason I used cheapie headphones before was they will fit in my purse, but the DURP moment was, "I take a mini-backpack to work to hold my lunch--there's a whole other pocket in it I don't use that will hold my GOOD headphones, why don't I put them in there?!" Before, it used to be that I would put my lunch in the fridge is why, but not recently =p DURP!
Actually, I'd gotten used to not hearing much in the way of bass, since it doesn't really pick up through the car stereo, either. Part II of my revelation is that the radio adapter I use DEFAULTS to 50% volume when I plug it in, and I can't change it--limiting volume adjustment entirely to the stereo. This is something that's made more evident with the built-in volume knob on my headphones + boost option =/
So I guess my solution--after retrieving the un-clipped versions of my songs >_< --is to blanket adjust the volume in iTunes to +50% or so. Obnoxious, but faster and better than picking at everything |=/
I beat Nancy Drew: The White Wurbs of Icicle Lake for C [he suggested I "try" it, to which I replied, "THEY'RE ALL THE SAME!!1"]. Much lawls, as Nancy has this odd habit of blurting some random shit after coming out of the bathroom =p There's an Easter egg in that, actually! Literally--unlocks the ability to go to a non-existant place and get an Easter egg! o_O
Which gives me this idea that *I* could write a Nancy Drew game 9_9 ...would be nice if I could, if I got a fat royalty check for it =9
[should prolly work on my own crap, tho]
