Officially closing up my eBay shop--or, well, blowing everything out to try to unload as much as I can before the move, and why not do it ASAP. What doesn't sell I'll likely either donate [as with most of our clothes] or keep in storage, unless some of y'all want some of it. Ask me in April, I guess. I'll still sell the occasional odd thing that I think can net some cash, and my Half.com account's still open, but it's not worth having the actual Storefront anymore without guides going, and I'm getting irritated with the buyers that come with the Neopets Key Quest crowd.
[Though, they've been gracious in taking the ones I don't particularly like off my hands, sans the codes I bought them for, but beyond that...]
It was an interesting experiment, but since I'm employed [for the foreseeable future], it's more of a nuisance than something I want to continue.
I said I've been trying to cultivate my creative urges, but silly things have been squelching them--things like finishing my acrostic book [to throw that in the recycling bin],
finishing Yugi, making sure all my passwords for ALL of my accounts on EVERYTHING are written down somewhere [...in code] in case I actually forget them again,* going through the mass of MP3s I have and purging the repeats/most horrible of them [I do grab things as experiment, for instance], and so on. This isn't even getting into taxes and filing actual important papers and that =p
*I don't remember my AIM/ICQ passwords for my old accounts, for instance, and have no idea which outdated inaccessible e-mails are connected to them to do the forgotten password thing, so if you haven't seen me there, that's why [and my current account I prefer to use only for work]
I also want to fix up some kind of content manager for my site, like what
HGM uses, but I haven't managed to bug Ash for how to do it/where to go to get the source code/gotten time to look it up/retrofit it myself for the abovementioned reasons. Sometimes I think I should just pay someone to do it for me, but are any of you willing to do it/able to recommend someone? [Granted, unless y'all are mindreaders, I'll still need to organize everything I plan to throw up there--yay, ANOTHER distracting task!]
So that's me.
