2934: Hungry Like The Wolf

*hangry, more like*

I became a little too enraptured with Breda and these factory-installed games it has =/ despite their being "just" Solitaire and Vortex [this weird combination of Tempest + Arkanoid], so that's going to seal my doom, between it and all the other distractions here at work. Off-work isn't much better: I made specific plans to get the LC out of the way quickly* and get layouts done before MythBusters, with the remaining hour before bedtime toward finishing up and showering.
*Thankfully, I could! This week was easy to make an educated guess in the first five seconds, and subsequent checks by people more diligent than me seem to support my hunch, so here's hoping *fingers crossed for CHAMPION!!! #5*

Plans never seem to work out exactly to, tho, and I ended up getting the file named and page numbers correct... 'sit =| which is embarrassing for how much prep time I had before getting text, but all I can say is closing my eBay store WOULD make it so much simpler for me.

[...but then I'd have to give everyone Neojank for Christmas...]

I guess I'm too far out of practice each time a new mag's ready--I learn/remember by repetition of application, and I'm quick to forget after disuse. Ugh =( but I don't have any related projects to keep me fresh and churning things out in the interim. The website is all precut and quick--print is a bit harder. I'm also S-O C-L-O-S-E to finishing the first page of my fucking comic, too...!!!1 ToT

So you see why I hate taking on more stuff. You also don't see [like I don't see] why I do it anyway.

They're having a bake sale here until 11a, plus the "bake sale" PC/Mac advert was on during MythBusters last night. That's a bit odd, considering I made this aborted analogy about bake sales--a Grand Scheme of Things hint to finish it? ^^; Unfortunately, it needs work that I'm not inclined to put into it, so I guess you'll just have to wonder about that... ¬_¬;

*still thinking about Drunk Kari's riddle-joke*What's red and smells like blue paint?
The best thing about the cold is Sticks seems to have stopped his door shenanigans. Otherwise, cold isn't good for ANYTHING. Cool = fine. Cold = SUCKS. I'm not a little kid anymore--I would rather stay warm than play in the snow--so unfortunately autumn/winter just means "takes more time to get to work" X(

...like this morning, if my dilly-dallying is any indication ¬.¬

games, sucks, hgm, nocomic, hangry, bother, riddlemethis, hayate, ihatecold, lazy
