Cufk tish sips, I had a post in the works from two days ago... where'd it go? =p I guess I spent too much time at home... not doing much of anything ¬_¬ and too much time at work trying to politely decline going to Red Lobster for lunch with the co-workers... Supers finally said she'd cover me when I said I'd already bought my lunch once this week and shouldn't keep buying lunch--at that point it was really hard to turn down =/
...but I don't eat there, otherwise T_T so... *weak*
They want to drag me out for bowling next Saturday, and it would actually be not that far for me to go [unlike for Aibo, who isn't inclined to socialize outside of work time since he still has the two job thing going on], but... BGN! D=
--sometimes ='
What else did I want to say... I need sleep!--RIGHT, on that subject, I've been at odds with my Vibralarm clock again: Not only is it mildly uncomfortable,* it's also difficult to turn off correctly in a half-awake state, as the switch to turn the alarm off is in the same place as that switch that changes the alarm from Vibrate to Beep [to, even worse, Vibe + Beep]... just on the opposite side =p
*not quite "The Princess and the Pea," but I do feel it when I turn on my side
So I had to jam something in the gap to keep it from switching over to Beep, which was about the most fun exercise I've ever had with pliers [the least fun being "unjamming the shredder"]. The most irritating thing is the Beep alarm is exactly the same as the one for Char's clock, so when I thought I had turned it off after waking up early, it started beeping instead and I first thought, did his go off early? OH WAIT NO IT'S MINE GADDAMMIT XO
But now at least it won't do that again without some significant help. Or physics deciding to defy me for no good reason... and I've been getting so good at waking up before the alarm, too--even on Mondays :p
Also:
Paycheck! T_T or, well, the "selective memory erasure" portion of it, at least, which should be the biggest reason this is a baaaaaaad idea =( It doesn't matter if the intent is to help trauma victims: Heard of roofies? This... is... WORSE. The road to Hell is paved with good intentions, you know, and I can only hope that these good intentions end up failing all the same.
--and I apparently saved some Hax facts to pass along, so I will, and very much out of context:Carolyn Hax: For those keeping score at home: Brides cannot take group photos at monuments, but they can cowboy up.

I'm so glad the subject has changed to day care: I was getting depressed with the willful misunderstanding of your Veto Power positions. I was about to charge in and yell BACON PANTS! to lighten up the tone of the room, but now people are being helpful about day care, so I don't have to.
Carolyn Hax: I think it's against the law to yell BACON PANTS in a crowded online auditorium. (Let's blame the Park Police again.)

[and from the "Deep" archives, since I got bored:]
Carolyn Hax: Try changing the subject. Politics is D.C.'s version of the weather.
Biscuit [my car] hit 60,000 miles on the way to work! I have something resembling a photo,* but I don't feel like getting it off the camera any more than you feel like looking at it. Also, some sociopoliticomumbojumbo, but I don't feel like [LJ-]cutting and pasting yet, either.
*yes, I was stopped... basically
