Sort of called out. I got as far as asking Cream to check my hours, and he said he'd have to call me back. I gave him my number, but so far nothing, and it's kinda late to go in now if they wanted me, so...
Subject: Yesterday's might have worked better, but in either case Chars went to bed, so while I'll prolly follow him in a sec, the subject line is right. Just me and jurburs =3
[...shoot, gonna need to do some journal editing...]
Work notes I forgot:
My second pair of headphones crapped out on me [left ear worked sporadically as though requiring the right "reception" to work], and I'm down to my last set now, having previously bought them when I didn't yet have my act together and forgot my first pair at home. Anyway, unless I plan to go through the same model of $15 headphones every few months, I'll need to look into getting a more heavy-duty pair. As I don't plan to stick with retail much longer, they won't necessarily have to be light, but I would like to avoid getting, say, the $150 Bose headphones ¬_¬
Also, Smokey said he wouldn't bring South Park anymore [hallelujah!], as he promised he wouldn't as soon as one person "said anything" about it. I took the opportunity to say I was going to question his taste in the first place.
Riddle! I first read this one in a larger storybook about a class that had gerbils, though I can't remember if it's the same one where the whole city became so populated with gerbils that there were more gerbils than men, women, and children. Subsequent [to me] variations used horses, as I suspect most riddles do, but I likes jurburs =3Shemp owned many gerbils. One day, he decided to give them to Larry, Moe, and Curly thus:
- Larry was to receive 1/2 of the gerbils.
- Moe was to receive 1/3 of the gerbils.
- Curly was to receive 1/9 of the gerbils.
When Shemp finally gave all of his gerbils to Larry, Moe, and Curly, they were surprised to have received seventeen gerbils. How did they divide them up?
Please get this one so I don't have to go back and post the answer later! XB kekekekekke~ [Note: I also like the book's version best, because it actually bothers to explain how it works, rather than leaving it as an exercise to the reader, "OH, I didn't catch that."]
I really don't know why I haven't posted this yet. Typing out more riddles for the queue isn't really necessary =p not when I could be seepy instead 9_9
