2401: Man, It's So Loud In Here
I remembered a good Noisy-ism:NG: They're hoarding all the Waves upstairs, so, Singer, what you should do is go and vicariously go get one from them without raising any suspicion.
Singer: Ah! So I'll act like I'm going to get the Wave, then Julie will actually go get the Wave, and I'll vicariously get it through her!
NG didn't get it, as per his usual spitting out words without really knowing what he's saying, but I'm glad Singer knew what vicarious meant x_x
...I miss Singer. He's gone again, didn't see when he snuck off. He's unfortunately[?] one of those guys who's really "better than" retail.
Speaking of co-workers, here's a vague representation of one of mine, though he ended up looking much more like digoraccoon + armitige3 than he actually does:
The problem is that now summer is sneaking up, by the time I get off work, the sun's long been up and the Rio isn't as picturesque as I would like. This is all I got [the streaks being the residual pollen on my windshield], since at the hour I trailed out, I was thinking much more about getting food and rest than getting photos:
FWIW, this is why the scanner's not hooked up yet =p [it's where my scanner would go, whereas the card reader is a little USB thing that can go anywhere]
Also, on sale through Saturday!
I did forget to get two more folding chairs, though [again, for reasons of starving]. That's definitely going to be a must-get before the next hosted shindig =/
