They ended up taking several liberties with it after all... Apparently it's during university--that changes some of the dynamic, as the characters are now allowed to get shit-faced drunk if needed =p although a lot of the high school clique-isms are still there. [Prom Queen? What??]
--but A Li seems to be pretty good at singing in English, and I'm almost sort of coming to accept the casting as a "real world, actually look Asian" equivalent of the manga's blond[e]/redheaded characters. It's just a shame Chinese is like fingernails across a chalkboard XB
Chars asked me if I was going to get Jump! Super/Ultimate Stars, and I said NO!, but after seeing that Light/Ryuk was included--and failing to find truly descriptive screenshots on a half-assed browsing--I admit to curiosity as to how [t]he[y] will play. Certainly I question the inclusion of "Misa Misa"--what exactly does she do to fight, again? Write in the Death Note? \:' Scarred, post-explosion Mello maybe, but...?
rikkisimons is seriously tempting me to get a hybrid now. Biscuit's getting kinda old--though still dependable--and with a decreased commute coming up, I'm more inclined to think it a good investment. Granted, this is a short-term diminished commute, so I have no reliable idea as to whether having a lower-powered car would bite me in the ass in the slightly-unforeseen future. Given that I've intentionally been decreasing my speed to well under what everyone else is driving, prolly not, though.
Not having kids may be the most sound decision a person like me could make toward decreasing impact on the environment =p though I think a better argument against having them would be that I'm a control freak and would hate it if mine didn't turn out exactly as desired. [This should be a gauge by which to determine readiness for parenthood: "Are you prepared to raise a child that could turn out exactly the way you didn't want?" Also, "Are you prepared to raise a child that may have birth defects?" I'm pretty sure too many prospective parents glaze over the latter aspect and sometimes get unpleasantly surprised.]
I got TJP TURBO! [revised release of 1] and briefly tried it out to make sure it worked, since it was sold as disc only. It's weird because, while there are places where it does the expected* "YOU DEAD" screen, it decided to do a "Hey, you got dead from gas poisonings!" pop-up window and bomb out the game entirely, for a different death sequence \:'

*I played TJP 2: Buried in Time first, because it was the available budget release at the time I bought it, so I mean the "You lost, and this is how" screens I'm familiar with seeing.
After giving away all my MLPs to someone who wanted them, I finally also got the only one I was actually interested in the whole time and never had [Firefly, pink pegasus w/ blue hair and lightning butt-cheeks]. Strangely enough, I don't feel very fulfilled for it =/ like, "Alright, now what?"
So, I'm currently working on a layout that's really puzzling me because I have minimal elements for it, yet I want to make it kinda interesting. I don't have any ideas at the moment =( and have pretty much spent my time prepping the graphics I have [cropping out the calendar portion from a wallpaper, for instance]. Some days, homework makes me feel like a hack... 8B
Kaelinore's a Poogly Oogly Oogle Poogle now, from the Lab Ray. Can't do Msp from the Fountain Faerie, but I could do Jelly if I wanted o_O [I don't]
Might finish the MoD stories before the early deadline! ...might.
