2319: Inane (Undermined)
Shoppy: I didn't get it in time. Upwords is now one of the "ghetto-fied" games, where they've pointlessly redone the game to make it even cheaper and less attractive. I could do eBay or other and find an old-style one, but is it really worth the wait? I think I'd rather actually play the game first before making that kind of investment--like if I was going to buy the "wooden book" versions of Clue, Risk, etc. that we stock.
Mail: I got some of the last NeoJank cards I'm missing, plus one of the sketch cards someone was trying to unload for less than half what I paid for the other one [which basically completes any interest I had in them!]. Unfortunately, the Crystal Core is still MIA! |:p so there's a big annoying hole in the Gradius collection [which is left because it's easier just to leave the broken code and upload the image later].
Other: The sky was gorgeous as hell when I went out today. It's so tempting to request going back to Dayside, just so I can see that more often... plus be able to DO THINGS on nights off besides sit on the computer and vegitate =p Speaking of which, Riddle of the Sphinx works! Tech support actually came through for once ^^ *remembers to save patch for future use*
Anyway, I found those first missing Styles I mentioned... got shoved in with the 30 January edition somehow o_O although, obviously, the ones Chars used as packing are still gone ¬_¬ ...but I've moved on, so that's okay. I did find a mysterious extra pair of gloves, though o_O?
Speaking of clothes, it's been occuring to me, as I realized I am down to one [baggy, wrickly] pair of khakis, that my snootified wardrobe has been steadily declining, particularly as Mum buys weird clothes for me for Christmas, such as the Lilo & Stitch zippered pullover I'm wearing at the moment. It doesn't really help, though, that even when I look, all the clothes I see look horrible on the racks, which doesn't make me interested in going a step further and trying them on. Being winter, though, also cuts into my motivation to go clothes shopping--dress-up stuff really isn't conducive to weather-wear :/
I did at least get my father's check deposited. Of course, especially if the weather's still nice tomorrow, I'm going to head down to the Rockville Pearl and FINALLY get the portfolios I need to store my cel backlog :/ Got another nice one of Kit that's just sitting there because I don't have anywhere she can go... T_T
