2312: Another Way

Books:

I've discovered, in a Hints from Heloise in my backlog of papers, a great variant of Where's George and so on. It's called BookCrossing, and it's basically a huge free book exchange. I'm really excited about this, because it gives me a way to give out books I know would go unread forever. I'm thinking about doing it with some manga to get people to read, for instance, shutterbox and see how awesome it is.

It reminds me of an anecdote I read in Reader's Digest once, about a church library catching fire and the parishoners subsequently returning books that they had kept and forgotten:"He who hoardeth his books may one day see them burned, but he who lendeth his books may one day see them returned."
Anyway, I don't want my first efforts to just blanketly fail, though... anyone interested in borrowing [and by borrowing, I mean having] my books? I don't mind paying shipping, either, if you're not too local :) I'm thinking about:
- the aforementioned Shutterbox books [1-3 to date]
- Puff and the Incredible Mr. Nobody [I somehow have two copies and don't mind sharing one... though I wrote something about cats in the back??]
- The da Vinci Code [prolly not a great catch by now, but worth a try]
- Angels & Demons [ditto]
- Hans Christian Andersen tales
- Shen of the Sea [Chinese short stories]
- Chicken Trek
- more as I look through everything and get stuff registered

...hmm, I guess I should buy pre-printed labels. My printer is being particularly disobedient today X( and it's not worth getting a new one, as rarely as I print ANYTHING.

Games:

Konami has a new game coming out, with art from the Sgt. Frog artist Mine Yoshizaki! :^o^: Chars wrote about it here.

AOU looks like a REAL E3--that would be fun to attend. You know, because even if it got boring, it's in JAPAN, so there'd still be other stuff to see =3

Edit: Think I'll keep Andersen's book a little while longer... I want to read it again :(

Editx2: Millie BookCrosses XD
