2285: Sympathy

Picked up PG:SS [Peach Girl: Sae's Story] #2 last night with a Border's gift card. It's weird how she's the bad guy, yet this trilogy [wai!] portrays her in a sympathetic light :/ It's really good, but it makes me feel bad all the same. Why does drama work like that?

Found an article in the 2nd's Post about online journals [too lazy to find to link], last line hits kind of hard:"Breaking up online is so sixth grade. Like, by eighth grade you should at least call them."
Anyway, been trying to keep occupied all last night. Got Torrents for all of Yu-Gi-Oh! [selectively d/ling only the Gradius references], Death Note Movie 1*, the other Death Note anime episodes I'm missing, a bunch of Utada Hikaru stuff, etc.

*Movie 1 is pretty good, considering it's a two-hour adaptation of through the end of the Raye Penbar bit. Compared to the anime--and ignoring weird casting calls such as making Raye Japanese instead of American or not giving Chief Yagami a moustache--there's quite a number of major changes from the manga, such as scene order and Light having a steady girlfriend, although I admit the ending is a little more clever the way it turns out. I don't really like that it starts with four minutes of teaser junk, but at least I got the thing... shitty Engrish subbing and all.**

**"Weird situations happened over all the place, the cause of death is heart paralyse"
"Everybody knows the bad guys are being vanishing. Everyone is not dare to voice out"
"I feel honour to you"

Good gad, it's such a GREAT idea to back up shit I don't need on my drive to free up space ^o^;

sad, manga, peachy, quote-awmg, deathnote, x, busiwork
