High on Speed
A nice man in a uniform and a tool belt named Miguel just left here. He left a box, some cables, a CD and some paperwork and took a check with him.
After about 20 minutes of futzing around, I now have high speed internet at home.
I feel like I should feel differently about it. Like in Harry Potter, when Harry finally gets the right wand and the wind blows and an angel choir things and I feel this rush of power flow through me........ well, that didn't happen. I've had dial-up internet for some 15 years. It's going to take me a while to adjust my brain to the fact that I now own a computer and a computer connection fast enough to do just about anything I could want, right here in my very own living room.
What do I do with all this power?
PLEASE, help me broaden my perspective on this lovliness known as the internet. What kind of high-powered, high octane things do you do online that I should know about? Tell me!
