OK, really, I'm the worst. I admit it. I will use depression as an excuse, even though I know it's really Twitter, and that damn H2Opia application on Facebook that conspired to make me slack off on reviewing films.
To make up for it I will post some brief capsule reviews, and that'll have to do it. This journal isn't all that big of a deal to anybody but me, though I hope that it does entertain some others.
Anyway. Moving on. No, I don't remember which day I watched IRON MAN the first time; I think it might be the Sunday after STAR TREK came out, or the Monday - anyway, lost in the mists of time.
Suffice it to say that I loved the hell out of it, want to bear Robert Downey Jr.'s baby, didn't want to stab anybody even after watching Gwyneth Paltrow, made many a "Dude" reference at Jeff Bridges, and am very excited to see any sequels to this movie. Also have no problem with Terrence Howard's role being recast - I don't care how pretty his light eyes are, the guy's a dickhead, and Don Cheadle is awesome.
