We're in Ashland. Hooray!!

We had the best freaking road trip day ever yesterday. We picked up a hitchhiker and took him from Eugene to Roseburg because his car broke down and he had to work the night shift at McDonalds. He offered us free dinner, but... it was McDonalds. So we declined and ate dinner in the Freakiest Little Town Ever. Myrtle Creek. It's like, fifty feet of road with a tavern, a park, a WHOLE BUNCH OF JEEZIE CRAP, a Dairy Queen (which was closed) and a really bad mexican resteraunt, which was the only thing open in the whole town aside from the bar (in which I couldn't even use the bathroom so I peed in th bushes in their park. Take that).

Today we got up just in time to see the Importance of Being Earnest, and it was fucking awesome. I love Oscar Wilde. He's just so... Oscar Wilde. He's so snarky high-society Victorian. The muffin argument was awesome.

And now we're in a cheap motel resting up before dinner. It's awesome. We have bad art, bad fake flowers, and one strippey wall.

Ashland is the same as ever. We went into the wood store, which you wouldn't think would be particularly awesome, but it was. I got a little wooden letter opener that I plan to use as an ahtame. It just *feels* good, y'know? And a little shell bowl that I plan to put smaller shells in, because that would be pretty. We went into Renaissance Rose, of course, and I tried on this really pretty skirt/corsetty tank top combination. The skirt was really huge and flowey and bronzey gold and the corsetty top was brownish with pink and gold accents - it was really pretty and I felt all dancy and awesome. But the shirt was $90 and the skirt was $50, so I didn't get either of them. :(

Now I'm kinda tired, but we're gonna hang outand then go to dinner at the English pub.

I love Ashland.
