(no subject)
Greetings, from Command Center 3.0! Why do I always end up doing big re-arranges before breakfast? I suppose it's easier to just wake up and do things rather than get settled in during breakfast and then have to un-settle myself for productivity.
I now have a table that is of proper height to serve as a computer desk, and a proper-height computer chair as well. Unfortunately, there is a slight discrepancy in the "properness" of these heights, so the keyboard is a liiiiiiiitle high for my arms. It'll probably end up on my lap most of the time. ::shrug:: Such is life.
There is a bookshelf next to me, forming a lovely little cubby. This does mean that my computer screen is once again within full view of the kitchen, which is a little annoying, but if worst comes to worst I can hang my curtains again. (Not that I'm really doing anything illicit, I just don't like it when people can see my screen so easily. Leftover impulse from the days of trying to block my slash readings from my dad.)
Mmmm, grainy coffee. Doncha just love the French press? XP
Anyway, the drawing table that is serving as my new desk is in the corner by the window, with the computer oriented so that I'm facing said window. I have officially crammed myself into the corner that receives the most prolonged sunlight during winter mornings. Woo hoo! It'll take a little tweaking to get the mouse in the right position. Really what I need is something on which to rest my elbow, and then have the mouse on the shelf here.......

I'll admit it, I was liberal in use of the back button to fudge the answers the way I wanted. Mostly it was flipping the positions of Literature Nerd and Math/Science nerd. Really, I qualify for both. And making sure Anime Nerd was at the bottom (because really, I'm not fond of it). Don't worry, all of my answers were... variations on the truth. >.>
Oh! Other productive things I've done... well, this was last night, but still. I got fed up with the monotonous fox mood theme, so I hot-linked ALL the mood icons from my old deadjournal, the mood theme I've had there since I was FIFTEEN, peoples, which I like much much better. (Obviously, since I haven't changed it for six freaking years). Situation Normal's Faceless Hearts. Good to have you back, boys. I also changed my background from the llama with George Harrison's hat to this cool nebula, and changed the colors from rainbow to blue.
